Report of Actions

Call to Order– Bernice Scott, Committee Chair, called the meeting to order.

Approval of Minutes – The minutes of the February 27, 2001 Regular Session Meeting were approved as submitted.

Adoption of Agenda – The agenda was adopted as submitted.

Items for Action – Items A and B were approved for the consent agenda.

  1. Change Order – Wiley Easton Construction Contract – The Committee recommended Council approval of a $97,377 increase in the Wiley Easton Construction contract.

  2. Easement for SCE&G Pressure Release Station – The Committee recommended Council approval of an easement to SCE&G for the installation of a gas regulation station on the Public Works Compound in Ballentine.

  3. Quitclaim Deeds for Woodcreek Development and The Ridge – The Committee forwarded this item to Council without recommendation and asked staff to verify the market value for the property for which the quitclaim deeds were requested.

Items for Information / Discussion

    1. Historical, Cultural, and Natural Resource Conservation Program – The Committee approved the request for a Council Work Session with the Conservation Commission at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday April 3, 2001.
